Melsy is a self-taught artist and entrepreneur from Boston, MA. She left her 9-5 corporate job in 2014 and embarked on her journey as a creative, which lead to the birth of her company, Melsy's Illustrations. Melsy started selling her artwork at small artists markets throughout Boston. After visiting NYC in the winter of 2014, she knew that's where she ultimately wanted to be. With a leap of faith she started her business plan, got denied 3x's for a business loan, took money out of her 401k, moved to NYC, and her career took off as an artist and business owner. The simple tools of faith, paper, and markers changed her life forever!
